I never really meant to say that Austin was fired, in fact I think he refused to job for Brock. He said before that that the writing had been awful, and so he was justified in walking out, but should indeed have ensured that the guys in the back supported him before doing it in the manner he did.

Okay, I'm going to reply rationally.
There were a lot of conflicting reports about why Austin left. One thing for sure, he was not fired. He was placed on inactive with the hope of a future return.
One report said that Austin didn't want to job. Another said Austin wasn't happy with the development of his character. Another said that he was unhappy with the RAW creative team. Another said that Brock Lesnar was told to legitimately rough Austin up to get the message through that one man isn't bigger than the company or something to that effect.
In a lot of ways, I can understand why he walked out. He shouldn't have walked out the way he did though. That was very unprofessional. The fact that he walked out and RAW has not gotten any better proved that RAW creative isn't good. Austin does have the ability to put a good match across, much more so than HHH. Apparently, Austin is in the best shape of his life and he will only work TV appearances and PPV's, that means no house shows. Austin has stated that he won't return on RAW so Bischoff mentioning it on RAW is surprising but there are many twists to be had.
All I want in an Austin return is for him to help establish new main eventers and put good matches across. I'm not expecting him to do what Angle and Benoit are doing but he can be as solid as them.
I hope that settles that.
