No, it's just reverse psychology.
Not 'losing', just not winning.
Not 'being an absolute literary reject', just not succeeding on that particular day because of the stiff competition.
Not 'failing consistently to be interesting, witty or informative, totally rejected by society at large and writting dull and lifeless articles because I'm just dull and lifeless myself', just taking to much time reading all the other fantastic opuses that have been posted rather than posting anything else myself.
Something like that, anyway.

Using alternative logic, I've won every day, because my knowledge has been enriched by reading all the topics on the site with every visit.
