In fact I love the American console list. Despite the Gamecube being 200,000 consoles behind the PS2 it is still selling far better than it is in Japan. And The DS may be selling JUST 100,000 systems but that is still more than it is selling in Japan.
Granted America is a bigger play ground but it is great to see half of my prediction, that the GBA will still be the biggest handheld console in 2005, coming true.
Of course if you want to feel good about consoles sales, all Nintendo consoles combined reach 333,000 systems and the Playstation brand sells 420,000 systems....
That's a lot of systems
And Nintendogs and Pokemon Emerald came out last week.
It's also got to be noted that Americans must be stupid to be buying 250k PS2s when it's so old and the 360 is out soon.
Poor Microsoft had better hope it's not a sign of people not wanting their console.
