It can now be revealed that the XBox will support VHS and BetaMax video cassettes! This may come as something of a shock, but apparently the decision comes down to the wide range and availability of these cassettes on the market, and fears that DVD's are merely a passing fad.

OK, any guesses as to what the first release on the X-Box will be?
My guesses: EA Madden 2003, Ridge Racer 6 or Shenmue III.
This will not be a direct rival to the X-Box as it will come bundled with Word for Playstation (using the joypad) and Excel for working out excactly how much money you lost buying the console in the first place.
Sony denied the rumour but are rumoured themselves to be creating a theme park in central london called Playworld, which will contain arcade machines and a cinema. A Sony spokeswoman said "Sony are always trying to come up with original and inventive ideas for our zomb..er, I mean customers"
X-Box specs have been altered, note, the ploy count is still a raw number, or completely unrealistic.
Graphics processor: From 300MHz to 250MHz
Polygon performance: From 300 M/sec to 125 M/sec
DVD movie playback: Now requires remote control accessory
Why don't we see built in games any more? Where are our Alex Kidds?
It's certainly possible, and I'm sure it wouldn't cost *that* much money...
I expect it's just nostalgia though, when it comes down to it.
78 even! :-)
Why is Gameaday/Filmaday not up yet?
