...no, no actually he's not.

You see, while other players may get plaudits for their work, Forlan is continually labelled as a load of rubbish. Personally, I'm a great fan of the man who has already earned his place in the Manchester United Hall of Fame.

And so you know, this utterly crap player has in fact scored more goals than all of these people:

Radzinski 8
Defoe 8
Cole, Andy 8
Baros 8
Bellamy 8
Wiltord 8
Ricketts 7
Vassell 7
Viduka 7
Smith 7
Sheringham 7
Gudjohnsen 7
Di Canio 6
Dichio 6
Flo 6
Inamoto 6
Ormerod 6
Kanu 6
Pires 6
Rooney 5
Cole, Joe 5
Djorkaeff 5
Nemeth 5
Maccarone 5
Ameobi 5
Stewart 4
Phillips 4
Fernandes 4
Poyet 4
Davies 4
Heskey 4
Diouf 4
Ljungberg 4
Dobie 3
Bergkamp 3

Not an unimpressive list.

Maybe some of you people should admit that Forlan isn't quite as bad as you would like to believe?

Forlan was a fantastic buy.

Honestly, our first win over the Liverpool for ages, his goal did it.

Then his goal sinks Chelsea, one of my most despised teams.

Plus he's scored late winners/ equalizers against Southampton and Villa, so I'd say he was responsible for at least an extra 5 points in just the few games he's actually played in.

Also, he's one of those players that isn't afraid to have a go.

He'll happily shoot from 20 yrds, and if it's a near miss, it's the kind of thing gets the fans and other players going.

He's a young lad, and I reckon he's got a future at Old Trafford, even in not a starter every time for a while, I mean , how long did Solskjaer have to play supersub for?

Oh, and Wookiee, Veron has been class this season, a HUGE improvement over last.

I wouldn't bet against him getting over 15 in the league alone this season, either! And I reckon he could also have a fair-few European goals by May too.

He's always been a hard-worker, and he's deserved the goals he is now getting after that never-say-die attitude he had at the club in his first-season, even thought he couldn't find the back-of-the-net.

It's great to see him regularly scoring past the likes of Liverpool and Cheslea at the top-of-the-league also! :)

I'm expecting Forlan to bag at least 15 goals this season myself. Not an unrealistic target, given that he is 60% of the way there. I won't make any speculation about next season though, since Fergie will more than likely pick up a new first team striker over the summer...

Don't get me wrong, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not a Man U fan but I was quite happy to see Forlan score. And it was a cracking goal!

He has had a lot of stick in the past but I think that will probably end.

But where's the fun in that? I must admit that I have the utmost pleasure in labelling him a donkey; just as other people label other teams players'.
