I've just registered for a competition taking place in a couple of months time.

The idea of it is that you get given a topic, a really vague subject, then you have 36 hours to write a story on that subject.

So I want practice.

Give me a subject, then, go on, and I'll write a story on it tomorrow, or the next day, depending upon when I have time.

Stupid subjects will be ignored.

I did something like this recently, only I didn't finish the story. Anyway, my topic was "I wonder if this happens to a lot of people?" - you write yours and I'll write mine and e'll compare notes. :)
