Hey,

Im looking for a digital camara in the region of £120 - £150
Ive looked at the Fuji Finepix A202 and wondered if anyone has got one?
seems to have some decent reviews and is within my price range.

Details available here:

http://www.cameras.co.uk/specs/fuji-finepix-a202.cfm

If you know of any others then please let me know or if you could provide some advice then that would be good. If it helps in anyway, the camara is needed for holiday and scenary shots.

Cheers

Neo.

P.S. What is the quality of a pictures taken at night like generally with digital camara's?

Hey, what about a FujiFilm Finepix A201? For £99 brand new. 16mb Smartmedia card and all.

Exact same cam as the A202, except the 202 uses a different storage thing. xD or summet.

Anyways, I really want this cam.

I am thinking about getting the MERCURY DELUXE CLASSIC 2.1 MEGA PIXEL from SR at £99.99. Is this a good camera to get? All I really want it for is to take to occasional picture at home as well as taking it to New York this Easter or Summer. I dont really want to spend £200+ on a camera as I wont be using it that much to justify that kind of price. Maybe a camera up to £150 or maybe just a bit higher. Do any digital cameras use 800x600 as a resolution as thats one of the sizes that I would want, as most do 640x480 and then rise to 1280x1024.

Yay, i'm buying a digital camera tomorrow, stuck between 3 cameras though:
Sony (DSC S85)
Olympus (Camedia C-4000)
HP (Photosmart 850)

I think i'm going to get the HP one as it's got a huge zoom 98x optical 37-300mm) but it needs 4 AA batteries, are there any positive points on using Alkaline/rechargable batteries instead of the lithium ones?

It's the lens quality that matters, far more than the CCD capacity. A 1 megapixel camera with a decent lens will produce far better pictures than a 2 megapixel camera with a naff lens.

When I was looking for my camera, the best site I found was www.megapixel.net, who give extremely frank and thorough reviews of practically all cameras on the market.
