Can't be crap, its got Bruce Willis in it. And its got one of the better shootout sequences in it. Watch it again and see if you don't change your mind. The ending WAS awful, but it was worth watching up to that point.

Nope, sorry, low budget tripe was Running Man. You are sorely mistaken on that one. It had no real plot, unlike the book. One of those rare sci-fi moments where the book was actually better than the film. If you disagree then we can battle it out intellectually or just rip each other apart over it next time we engage on UT.

The best conversion to game of a sci-fi film (excluding Star Wars or Star Trek, which don't really issue from books in the first place) was Feist's Riftwar Series which came out as 'Betrayal at Krondor' for the PC years ago. The followup 'Betrayal at Antara' was even better and only released last year. It's a shame that this sort of adventure/fantasy genre does not make an appearance on the more mainstream gaming consoles more often.

But really there's not a great deal to compare it to!

Pretty much everything after this was pretty poor, such as The Last Action Hero, Junior, Jingle All The Way, True Lies, Eraser. All terrible.

Terminator, T2, Predator + Total recall were good.

Worked ok for me. Can't believe that I can't review 'Total Recall' with Arnie though. Haven't they got it on DVD. Why not? Greatest Sci-Fi film ever! Arnies greatest role! Sharon Stone! Michael Ironside! Rachel Ticotin! "Open your mind"! Fantastic. I am now truly disgruntled that this great opus is not in stock.

Humph.

Oh yes.

I was clearly mistaken earlier.

It just looked a bit like the red splat page. Or something.

You are definitely right, and it was working completely, absolutely well from the very first moment that you said it would.

Honest.
