It's closer than you think.
Quote from Armageddon:
Charles "Chick" Chapple: I've never told anyone this before, but I'm afraid of flying. So it would be very embarrasing to die now.
Rockhound: You think that's bad? I owe 100 grand to a fat-ass loan shark which I spent on a stripper named Molly Mounds.
Charles "Chick" Chapple: Boy, that's bad.
The difference in class is easily apparent. Wonder when the game will come out?
I never feel like I should post in there, as I've never watched a DVD in my life.
I love watching movies though, and discussing them.
So do the right thing and rename it the 'Movies Forum'.

It looked like thay film could have been a hour or so longer, but the director just cut it to shreds, getting rid of any chance we had of getting to know the characters, so it was just a buch of stuff that happened to a bunch of people I didn't care about.
That is very true, and one of my pet hates in films. Look at Star Wars, all of the characters were very strong. Unlike Episode One.

I love the bit at the end where he has like total power over everyone and he stops the bullets. That is so cool.
Also the bit where the guy who made the lady in red gets killed and all the blood comes out his mouth.
It took me about 4 times to understand the whole film. That shows how good it is.

Yes I liked the fight sequences, but it was the baddies that I had a problem with. They just weren't bad enough.
They looked like middle aged men, desperately trying to cope with a mid-life crisis.
Whatever you may believe it is not, has not, will never be cool to wear sunglasses indoors.
Also some of the other characters living in the real world were so obviously cannon fodder, as they had barely any character build up in the film, so they were only there to die, so it didn't have the effect it could have done when they were betrayed.
And another thing, the love story between Neo and Trinity was dire, but I blame that on Keanu Reeves acting.
Other than that it was alright!
