How would I go by cleaning out this place?
It's full of little files and programs that I never use anymore!
Is there a cleanup program I can get?
I've used the system cleanup thing but that only cleaned the C:TEMP folder...
Or can I just delete everything in it? I'm guessing that will be a mega no no!
Thanks
My downstairs PC which is older had 70mb.
Hmmm
Little off topic, just opened my temp internet files folder and there is over 400MB in there
Just deleting over 30 000 files.
Never realised I had that much crap stored on this laptop.
:-)
I now get an error from something when I start up, nothing has stopped working so it can't be important, I'll have a look next time I load up...
Also, I can't run scandisk because it keeps restarting for some reason? I want to do the thorugh scan but it gets so far and it restarts?
Why?
I've got it in safe mode when I do it but it still restarts? I've got errors on my drive so defrag doesn't want to work...
Argh!
Anything that is required by any program installing any data will be put in a proper folder, not left in the TEMP folder.
You are free to just delete everything in it if you like :)
I'm then gonna delete all of the files...
I'll leave the folder there though!
What about the subsolders though?
Help!?
