It's probably just me though....
I don't read the papers anymore, its just all pointless drivel.
Let's all get upset about the papers deflecting us from the "real issues" which we have no influence over, no interest in, and don't concern us.
Magnificent.
"The tabloids did well to get a picture of Townshend and Glitter together"
I know it's twisted, but still..
"Matthew Kelly pictured with evil child luring device."
1. I can't think of anything witty or cynical to say
2. I have too much to say
Which America sold to them.
Yet for the UK and US it is " Strategic Defence Machines " or something

Just send Graham Norton and Tara Palmer Tompkinson over to Iraq and i'm sure Saddam will give up in a matter of minutes, although i don't think we should let loose that kind of punishment on anyone.
US + UK says that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. WOMD
UN weapons insectors must be allowed in, or Iraq gets it.
Iraq lets inspectors in.
Nothing found.
US "We must bomb Iraq because of all of their nasty WOMD."
UK "We must put a stop to the evil terrorist threat from Iraq, I mean, one of our coppers got stabbed by an Algerian, we must bomb Iraq!"
So when we gonna turn on Algeria?
Hell, I know nothing about Algeria. Maybe there will be a slow build up in the papers, Algerian PM is a cyclops. Algerian Royal Family involved in child porn.
LET'S SLAY THIS VILE BEAST!!!!1!
Anyway, why can't we text vote as to whether we wish to go to war, and who we go to war with?
And vote in celebrity soldiers, over a 10 week TV series.

Got to admit though what the Queen is wearing is more important than our soldiers lives isn't it? :\

Doesn't explain why the very anti-american paper the Mirror are going with that story though. In fact i'm surprised they haven't blamed America for this whole Townshend/Kelly/Glitter thing that's started up.
*Gasp* Matthew Kelly was a candidate for presenting the American version of Stars in Their Eyes and ermmm The Who once played in America, there we go even more proof than a UN Inspector could find right there with that story and to slightly change a South Park saying lets 'Blame America'
