Well, Alpay won't be match fit, as he hasn't played a game for 3-4 months. Then you got Suker, who has broke his leg.

I fear that Turkey will give us a thrashing, their possession football and technical ability will be too much for our out-of-sorts team.

An "early door" is something a team knocked-out early-on uses to escape from it all and sulk after failing miserabley in their attempts to qualify for the next-stage.

Is this the same Holland that failed to qualify for the world cup?

I know that it's early doors, but I think Holland will win Euro 2004. England will come top of their group, making Turkey have to qualify through the play-offs.
