“Without Prejudice”, Channel 4’s new excuse to give some mook £50,000 for doing sod all.
Six people are put before a panel and asked various questions about their personal lives, beliefs and so on. The panel then picks their favorite person to walk away with the cash.
It’s kind of like Big Brother but it’s not as annoying.

Anways. The group of people who were playing for the cash were asked three questions and lets say some of their answers were colorful to say the least.
So I’m going to ask you the same three questions.

Just one rule. Say what *you* believe. Don’t say something just because Goatboy or Snuggly has said it (If they don’t reply to this then insert next two most brown nosed people here}

1. Are there too many immigrants in the UK?
2. Should we be allowed to test on animals?
3. Should gay and lesbian couples be allowed to get married?

1. Yes
2. No
3. Yes

I like to keep my opinions simple :) Although I'm not too sure about No. 1, never really though about it..

> 1. Are there too many immigrants in the UK?

Difficult issue. There is enough food, but there aren't really enough jobs. I'm not complaining about us good ol' Brits being put out of work though, I'm just saying there isn't enough to go round. But if they have the skills to do the job I'd gladly give it to an immigrant over an Englishman. But then again places are really crowded nowadays. Which is bad. And it's a drain on government resources etc. But they don't use most of their money effectively anyway.

Bah, I dunno.

> 2. Should we be allowed to test on animals?

If you say yes, you include humans in that, as we are animals. In general I would say "no", because there's nothing that gives us the right to experiment on a completely different species that has not committed a crime against us. And even if it did commit a crime - that would be our rules it was breaking, not some kind of universal law.

I'd much rather have testing on humans personally, as there's aquite a few who deserve it. Animals just get on with their lives without buggering up everyone else's.

> 3. Should gay and lesbian couples be allowed to get married?

There's no reason why not. It also creates more jobs so it helps the immigrant problem. Although having said that many religions feel the homosexuality is wrong, and so if these religions were to offer gay marriages then it would just be hypocrisy.

So yes in general, but not from the religions that say it's bad.

1. Are there too many immigrants in the UK?

I don't even know how many immigrants there are in the Uk. So I can't really judge. But then, why should we stop people who want to live here? We were lucky enough to be born into the Uk, and reasonably lucky lives. Guess we should kinda allow people to come here if they want.

2. Should we be allowed to test on animals?

Only if they don't mind.

3. Should gay and lesbian couples be allowed to get married?

Of course they should.

Well I am unaware of the figures. I feel people seeking political assulyum and such should always be allowed in. However, I am fair to say a limit should be put on the numbers.

2. Should we be allowed to test on animals?

If it were for some disease or illness... i.e cancer then yes I do feel animals should be tested. For anything as cosmetics and such then no.

3. Should gay and lesbian couples be allowed to get married?

Sure

On a completely un-related note; have you seen all of Love Hina? Only I've heard the second series, Love Again Hina, isn't really anything as good, and I'm wondering if it will be a waste of my download time...

Considering they can greatly improve a persons physical appearance and overall attractivness, yes, cosmetics are a benefit to us.

You should have been more specific.

Ah, but read everything I said, in particular "if we can do so knowing that the research can benefit us in some way ", I think that is an entirely, to use your own words, "worthy cause" no ? Cosmetics are not exactly a benefit to us are they ?

better put reasons seeing as you want them now.

1. Yes, we can't house immigrants when we have so many homeless people on our streets and a large number of illegal immigrants.

2. Yes, the only way we can progress and advance in the field of science is to test new cures etc. But not testing lethal diseases that could be used for bio-wars.
3.Yes, but not in a church. Should be allowed to adopt as long as they understand and accept that the child may face years or abuse and pain from other children and even other parents for it.

I disagree entirely, but frankly I can't be bothered to argue with someone who has forced opinions.

Still, animal testing should only ever be reserved for a 'worthy' cause. The fact that they are used to test cosmetics, of all things, if frankly ludicrous.
