Probably not. BUT, SD2 does have more backstage arenas.
AND, it has a lot more matches, TLC and Hell In A Cell.
That's probably why I like SD2 more. But they're both great.

Ant - does it matter?

Nomercy is overall better, I have played each intenseively and I can say this without a shadow of a doubt.

NoMercy = No loading

No Mercy is more realistic, but I think SD2 Is more fun. I've played both, and so has Darkness-2k, and he agrees with me.

i will help but I will only help u as I still believe NoMercy is better, I do own both the games so I have a better opinion

I know, No Mercy is great. I just prefer the style of SD2.
