This is a intersting site that I have found about these Rods that are flying around in our planet. No one knows what they are, and they can't be seen with the naked eye.

Check the site above if you are interested in thingslike this.

Did anyone buy the last edition of a magazine called "Alien Encounters"?

Well the so-called photo of the Roswell crashed disc on the cover was taken by me - it was a hoax.

I sent them a hoaxed UFO photo and they put it on the cover and did a deep analysis of it inside the mag.

True story.

The first 2 picture look like a normal aeroplane to be honest.

This is something that always puzzles me - video is always abnormally fuzzy. I have a decent camcorder, and while it's far from top of the range, it makes incredibly clear recordings - not much below broadcast quality.

Yet any video you see on these programs is always fuzzy, blurred or cloudy. Whether it be a UFO, the Loch Ness Monster, or the Beast of Bodmin - it's never clear. Even the clips on You've Been Framed and Kirsty's Home Videos are low quality.

Yet I can film our (small) dog running around at the far end of the garden, and it's always crystal clear.

I can only assume that everyone on the planet who isn't me, doesn't take very good care of their equipment. It's the only explanation!

I saw a program about those Rod thingies on Sky 1 a couple of months back.

I find it very interesting how so many people have caught them on camera, all in the same part of the world, particularly up high in the hills or down in caves. It's a bit like Nessie, except not.

The program was also telling you what you should do if you wanted to catch some flying rods... silly demented fools. :-D

It's amazing how quickly all the Area 51 stuff really took off recently. It was all gone and forgotton (or not even known) by a lot of people until the early 90's when all the 'xfiles' stuff took off.

The site isn't much to look at anymore, anything that might have been there would be gone by now and most of what is known is conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory these days, if you examine all the 'evidence' you end up with something resembling a plate of spaggetti.

And take this as a thought for the day:
If all those UFO sightings are to be believed, why do most of the Spacecraft have lots of flashing lights if they want to remain unseen?

I would love to see what's in Area 51, as some people reckon that they have captured a UFO that crashed.

I wonder what else they might have, as they guard Area 51 very highly.

Wasn't Rod the one with Emu? ;-)

Anyway, yeah this was all over the UFO and weird websites in the early 90's, Fortean Times has had many such looks at the Rods phenomena. Could be anything at the moment though.

Like the Alien Spacecraft sightings, no one has really taken a completely clear picture or video of them yet. Strange that.

I don't think that the Rod would be an insect, because they are made out of metal, or it seems to be metallic.

Yeah I also saw that program on Sky One, they proved that they have been here on Earth since the cave-men times with cave paintings of flying rods. So either they are prehistoric and beyond, or they are prehistoric or beyond Aliens.

Yeah, I totally agree with Wookie, I mean, you have to keep an open mind, anything's possible.
Apparently, some scientists think it's decendant of a dinosaur, and there's a 3D image of it.
It does look at lot like it.
Hmmm.
