One thing that really gets up my rag is those ignorent people who are always dissing people like me because we like Pokémon.
Quite frankly i'm sick of it as I am sure other Pokéfans are.
These people seem to me to have the stereotypicle view that Pokémon is for children aged 5-11. NOT TRUE!!!!
Many of my Pokémates are actually aged 20-35 which isn't suprising really as the gameplay style that it uses is very addictive for all ages and for people from all walks of life.
I have even seen an article in the sun newspaper where the Pope (yes the Pope) approved of Pokémon as he said "I believe that this Pokémon game is not only fun but educational too as it can help teach how to use tactics and quick thinking"
If these anti-Pokémon people persist in their ways I am afraid that the yonger generations of poké-fans may become scared of buying the other gemes in this genre. (i.e. Dragon Warrior Monsters)
If things continue the way they are Nintendo might be looking at a drop in sales of Pokémon merchandise which might also prove bad for the economy.

But what I said in that long message is my opinion!
I have all the GB games out so far (Except Red) but I haven't got much else Pokémon related other than the trading cards but you could call me a Pokéfreak cos I've trained Pokémon on yellow so well that I haven't been beaten in over 100 battles!
I agree with donphan on this one!
The Pokémon market is huge and people of all ages are buying the goods for their own enjoyment!
People don't like it getting everywhere but just cos it is it doesn't mean that the games are rubbish!
Most of them are pretty good and they have kept me going for ages! Especially Pokémon Yellow and Pinball! In fact I love the games!
The characters aren't all cute (most of them are) but Nintendo are famous for their bright graphics and cute creations! They are original!
If pokémon is so bad then why was Pokémon Yellow a record breaker for the most amount of sales ever in gaming history broken by the number of sals of Gold and Silver in a week in the US! People must like it for it to sell like that!
I don't like the copy called Digimon! If anybody says that Pokémon is a copy of Tamagotchi or Digimon came first then I'll give you the proof that Pokémon was though of almost 20 years ago! Digimon is too similar!
I think that people who don't like Pokémon should leave the MAJORITY who do alone!
Pokémon's a hobby like football, internet and other common activities! Mobile phones are worse than Pokémon for getting everywhere cos they are always constantly ringing and people comentate on what they are passing on the bus, "I'm passing the supermarket now and there's an old lady walking towards the bus and she's just got on and the drivers checking she's got the correct fare, etc"
