Go out and get drunk, 'pull' girls..... snog them smell like beer.. and god knows what else for what? No matter what weather they must have that one 'beer' Was watching something called 'Beach uncovered' or something.
A good read is Tony Adams 'Addicted' that shows u someone that had to get over his drinking habits.... do most english have the same problem?
I dont need to drink to look 'hard' to my friends.... cos i got computers, football and Tv to do rather than go out and be a fool.
But why? I'd rather dazzle people with my football skills, relax by playing games or watching tv.

There are several reasons why I like to get drunk occasionally...

It reduces your inhibitions for starters, you're less worried about what people think of you, more willing to act impulsively rather than making calculated decisions. That alone can be as refreshing as anything.

The nagging thoughts at the back of your mind dissapear, letting you see everything in a way you wouldn't otherwise. Everything is much clearer, and all that matters is what really matters, if you get my drift.

I'm not saying that I need alcohol to enjoy myself, or to relax, or for whatever other reason, but life is about varying your experiences. In any given situation you're probably better off sober, but that alone is no reason never to get drunk at all.

Or maybe it is. Depends on your outlook.

As Tyler Durden says, "Stop trying to control everything and just let go"

When I was 15 I think I drank my life's ammout of alcohol and errrm other things

This slowed down a bit now and virtually came to a hault, I still like to get drunk but I think I did my liver in pretty bad at 15.

Stupid me

I hate the British culture though:

Down the pub with some mates, go to football, pull some birds, go dancing, get a curry, start a fight, throw up etc etc

I think so too. I have the odd drink now and agan. But I used to get p*ssed paralytic so much, I got bored. And I think the main reason was to just make my friends happier! Now I realise what a twit I was to do that! You can have a 'real' character without the alcohol! Hm?

I'm the same Snipester mate, I can see how going out with mates and having a drink or whatever is fun (I do it now), but not to go and get stupidly drunk for no real reason.

I'd rather just play snooker with them, or play games, watch a film etc. with some drink by my side. {:)
