I know, I said that earlier!

If you want your site to get into google though you need to get the stuff hosted with the domain...

They don't like sites that are forwarded somewhere else...

Yeah but if you intend to get your pages listed on Google, you've gotta do that!

That's why there are a load of hidden links at the bottom of my index page, I've got a copy of all my pages on the phi11ip.com domain so that the Googlebot thing follows the links and adds them to the index...

I update the NTL ones more though...

But it works out a lot easier and cheaper just going with someone else rather than doing that Phi11ip.

Just do what I do, get the site wth Freeola and host the index page on Freeola, when you click the link it takes you away from Freeola to your domain...

I do that but by having the frames template uploaded to Freeola and the pages within the frames linked to my NTL webspace...

This way you still have the phi11ip.com bit in the address bar and it looks better than having a long NTL address...

.net's and .com's are more expensive than .co.uk's

.co.uk's are the £6 ones. Either that or they have increased their Prices.

Something like £6 for two years. That's what I did for my Vice City Site.

I bought the Domain for £6 and have it pointing to my Web Site, which is hosted at freeola. www.gta-vice-city.co.uk uses the Web Forwarding to point to the actual site at www.haignet.co.uk/ViceCity/.

My Domain Name www.haignet.co.uk is hosted with Freeola.
