I recieved the SoundStation 2 Speakers in time for X-Mas, and they are great, BUT what about the Surround Sound Setup? I see the Digital Out in the PS2, but if there are no Surround Sound Setup's Available (i.e. Dolby 5.1) then what is the point of having one? Is there any of you knowledgeable people that know where I could go to get a Surround Sound System for my PS2, and roughly how much it would cost??? If you can help it I would like the U.K Sites only, if there aren't any then I will have to do some number crunching with the U.S. Sites (If they would even deliver here!)

If you want really nice Dolby Surround, plus the PS2 into the back of your VCR using the scart socket. It will play fine on your video channel, and you can also record all your gameplay onto a video tape! (If you want to ;))

The picture will also be clearer.

They sound very good, thanks. However, I originally ordered them because when I used a PS2 to TV to Hi-Fi connector the DVDs turned green, and from what you said, it sounds like it requires the same connector, so my stupid DVDs will go green again. Any suggestions?

The Speakers are all really good, better than I thought they was going to be. They are better than my Hi-Fi Sony Speakers are. You get 2 Speakers and a Sub-Woofer. There are 3 "Sockets" at the back of the Sub-Woofer that everything goes into. The first one is where the Power Supply plugs into. The Second is where the 2 Speakers plug into. And the third is the Sub-Woofer where you plug in the Red and White Connectors. It would be best to have an RGB Cable because then you will be able to connect them onto the cable then plug in the Scart Socket. It is easy to set it all up, and all the cables you need (Apart from the RGB Cable) are included in the box, and yes, it is worth it, the next best thing from Surround Sound. All I need is there any sites where you can get a Dolby 5.1 Speaker System for the PS2? That Creative Website only has 2 Speakers.

Sorry, this ain`t really answering your question, but I alos ordered the Soundstation 2 speakers. I ordered them here online at special reserve. It says coming soon by it so I wasn`t expecting them for a month or two. However, I now know they could be on their way, so I just wanted to ask what they were like. Are they just base? I`d like all the sound really, but it seemed like only a sub-woofer. How does it connect to the PS2?

I hope you get a chance to reply. Thanks, ssxpro.
