Marmite ad to show same-sex kiss
A TV advert for Marmite is to feature the first ever same-sex kiss shown in a commercial.
The risque campaign shows a lifeguard being forced to smooch a man he has just given the kiss of life to.
Viewers will see the lifesaver munching on a Marmite sandwich when he spots a drowning man in the water.
As he gives the kiss of life, the man pulls the lifeguard's head towards him and begins to kiss him back.
But the makers of the spread say they are not deliberately trying to court controversy.
A Marmite spokeswoman said: "When people look at the advert they will realise there is nothing which could cause offence."

I saw this advert earlier today, and all I could do was laugh. Given the nature of their ad campaign, is there really anything controversial about it? I don't think so.
> Funny, no-one will complain about two blokes kissing, as it's pretty

> we'd have all the sexists (that's feminists) complaining about it.
> Pfft
so true,
But if it were two sexy little minxes (that's females) then
> we'd have all the sexists (that's feminists) complaining about it.
Not that you're being sexist or anything...
Then someone will shoot some dude in the face, the police will find a jar of Marmite and gay porno in his flat and the angry mobs of screaming teenage muuvuhs will instantly assume that the Marmite ad corrupted him into being a killer and demand it's taken off the TV.
(Make a mountain out of a mole hill why don't you Nic?)
La la la
What really annoys me is when you laugh at a piece of comical violence at the cinema and people around you just stare at you as if you're strange.
