I know this is meant to be in the reviews section, but this game is not listed there, so I have to do it on here. I also want to win a game.

"The glorious Jabba The Hutt invites you to his tournament, and hopes you will die in a most entertaining manner."

If you want a game that is fun, fast, furious, and flipping brilliant, get Star Wars Demolition.

The best part of this game has to be the amount of options. You can get single player Tournament, which is where you play four rounds of demolishing fun against one enemy, 2 enemies, 3 enemies and 4 enemies respectively.
The arenas in which you will do battle are chosen at random, as well as the enemies.
At the end of the tournament, if you have at least 10,000 credits, you can unlock a new vehicle.
You lose the tournament if you run out of credits, and you earn money for each vehicle you destroy.

There is also Battle Mode, where you can practice your demolishing skills . You can select any arena and any enemies you want.

Another is the high-stakes mode. Here you bet your credits on how you think you will do against the CPU, and at the start of each race you can change your bet.
You win when you have 10,000 credits, or when the CPU has nothing left.

Finally, there is Hunt-A-Droid mode. You choose the vehicle and arena, and you have to destroy as many droid targets as possible in an amount of time.

All of these can be done with 2 players as well. In some modes, you can choose versus or co-op.

There are quite a few vehicles to choose from. These are: X-34 Landspeeder, AAT Battle Tank, Podracer, STAP, Swoop, Imperial AT-ST, Snowspeeder and a Desert Skiff.
But you can also be Boba Fett, and his weapon is a rocket laucher.
AND you can be a Rancor, a huge monster with devastating moves.

Each vehicle or person has its own special move.

There are lots of weapons as well, including Laser Cannons, Concussion Missiles, Proton Torpedos, Tractor Beams, Thermal Detonators as well as all the special moves.

There are powerups to collect throughout the game, including R2 Droids, Power Droids, Tactical Droids (these will all be able to help improve your vehicle), Cloaking Devices, Deflector Shields, Energy Converters, Shield boosts, weapon boosts and many more.

The different arenas you can get are in Hoth, 2 in Tattoine, Naboo, Dagobah, The Death Star and and a couple more I can't remember. {:)

The graphics are good, but not brilliant. The controls are easy and comfortable, and you get used to the feel of the vehicles very quickly.

Overall this game is a lot of fun, and is especially good for 2 players. It will also keep you playing for a while, due to its many options.

This game gets an 8/10 for me, and I think LucasArts have done a good job with this one.
It really does "demolish" its opponents, but that's probably because there aren't many games like this out at the moment.

This game really is, "Total Vehicular Carnage In A Galaxy Far, Far Away."

Thanks for reading, Ant.

Yesterday I went to see this film and I must say that it was a pleasant surprise, in that it kept me engaged all of the way through, it even surprised me a couple of times and confused me once.

I particularly like the design of ARIA and I found it to be a pretty unique take on the wall of TV surveillance screens in ‘The Matrix’. It wasn’t obvious to me from the beginning that it was the computer reeking havoc all over town and when that was made clear I found it to be a witty metaphor on the “You are either with us or against us” rhetoric of that moron George W. Bush.

The moral of the story is that The War on Terror will eventually turn in to The War on Terra, even for those with the best intentions.

It has been out in the cinema for a little while now and its run at my local cinema is due to continue for at least another week. That can only be because despite the fact that the screening that I attended was not packed out, this film is selling tickets.

Congratulations, Ant. You won a game! I have tried really hard, but I can't seem to win one. :(

Ant, I've now played SW Demolition and I don't see what the fuss is about. I thought it wasn't very well implemented, but I was looking forward to a Destruction Derby style game with Star Wars vehicles.

Oh well, I guess that one person's good game is another man's poor one. Or one in the bush is anther man's kettle of fish!
