Every episode I've seen has been entertaining, with some great one-liners. Perhaps they felt, like with the Simpsons, that it was running out of ideas and didn't want it to get stale, but it's more likely that the viewing figures weren't that good.
Still, I guess we're lucky here that we haven't even got half way through the episodes that have already been made, so there's plenty more to come for now.
God only knows why - maybe Fox were worried it was distracting MG from The Simpsons or something. There has been a general downturn in the fortunes of all "adult" animation shows anyway, so maybe Futurama was as much a victim of its genere's failings as its own.
Mongs
I've got the computer game one on my PC at the moment...
"Looks like invaders, most probably from space!"
"We come from planet Nintendo64"
Aaaaaaaah the fun...
Its really funny, and has loads of fresh/clever ideas to bring to the stale cartoon genre.
All the innuendos and throwbacks to ur day are hilarious.
As is Bender!
HA!
It's had a good run, let it die... but keep Family Guy! (which is starting to go the same way as Futurama, but not yet)
Mario: "Mamma Mia, the meatballs of war have rolled onto our laps!"
:D
