I've made all the changesin order for my page to be hosted by freeola, changing the nameserver, the IPS tag and so on.

So what happens now,
I presume I wait the 48 hors and I should be able to host my site using freeola?

Ok thanks m8,

It's a lengthy process transferring files ect. but it's worth it at the end, this means I won't have to use someone elses domain.

I actually got my reply 15 mins later, and the cgi-bin was active :)

But, as it's the Christmas period, I'm not sure, they may have minimal staff working today. I doubt it would be to long though.

That's correct.

Web Files go into the 'htdocs' folder.
CGI files go into the 'cgi-shi' folder.

you can create folders next to these two folders if you wish to store files in which won't be accessable via your http:// address, but your CGI/PHP Scripts can access them, so you can protect some fiels frm being downloaded by not putting them in the 'htdocs' folder, but you will still be able to access them yourself via your own Web scripts.

I think you have to e-mail [email protected] to ask them to enable your cgi-bin, as I don't think it is active until you do so.

E-mails, set up as many as you like :)

It's something like Hot Docs, it's the only folder there so you can't really go wrong.

You've gotta re-upload them to your Freeola webspace...

Make sure you put them in the Ht-Docs folder though...

I've got that folder name wrong haven't I?

I knew what it was until I wrote it..
