What a summer, first we had black beetles everywhere. They're annoying, and god made them even more annoying by giving them wings. I must have thrown about 30 of them out the window this summer.

Then we had the grasshoppers, this one was new I spotted the first one upstairs in my mothers bedroom. What? How? How did it get there? They started appearing in other places too around the house. I'm still trying to figure out how they got in. Can they fly? :S

Then came the spiders, especially the big ones with the nasty looking fangs. Everywhere, all around the outside of the house. You cant walk around the house without walking through several of their webs. I could probably go outside into our gardens and see about 30 of them. Huge massive webs too, some several metres long it's crazy.

Now came the huge Daddy Long-Legs, everywhere, all over the place, I even found 3 stucks under a lamp :/ everytime I go for a walk I have to be careful not to step on any, there are 100s everywhere. Apparent because we had a hot summer, followed by a wet and then warm late summer it's been perfect for them.

I suppose the only good thing is for all those birds who eat them all :)

Did you know daddy long-legs have the most poisonous venim? just they have not got teeth to inject it into things, well thats what people say, I don't believe any of it, my parents puppy eats tonnes of them and hes still around, unfortunately! Nah hes ok really even if he does get very annoying and chews my homework up!! Teachers think I make it up, but he actually does!!

Oh my gosh snake, you're so cruel! :P Although I rarely see spiders around my house either, I seem to have tons of spider webs about, but mostly in the high ceilings, where I go at them with me broom. *witchy laughter*

Daddy long-legs look like mega-mosquitos to me, but from what I understand they're harmless. I have't really seen any here at all, only those tiny spiders with the pinchers..and they're freaking in their own right. They look like they might bite.

Ahh, the daddy long legs, I used to love to torment them with me little toy car. Now I just pick them up and throw them at the wall really hard. don't think it hurts them to much, but they get up and fly away.

Very rarely i see spiders about my house.

I hate the flies though :s UGH! Everytime i open the door one annoying fly starts wizzing round the house, where is that Mr Miyagi when you need him.

I think i have seen one daddy long legs. I opened the bag door the other day and he was on it. Luckily on the outside of the door and thats where i left him :P

I really like daddy-long-legs. Never thought of them as spiders with wings before... Nice

I've had tonnes of spiddlers in my house. We;;, spiddlers implies they're tiny things... These things you can see their eyes/teeth/other body parts. Scary as anything. I take pics of em when I can - that's how sad I am.

Daddy-long-legs - in my book they're flying spiders with two legs missing. They're great fun to kill with a fly-swatter though. They just fall out of the sky...

Yes we had a couple, I think the Butterflies annoy me as I try my best to save them but they keep flying away from the open window :/

Me and GP talked about this before, about when it's so hot during the summer and we'd leave the window open and of course next thing you know you have 5 flying things trying to smash themselves into your monitor. So then you have to close you window and you get all hot and bothered.

I should invest in one of those zapper things, the blue light thingies. But to be honest I dont want to kill the little annoyances, I just dont want them to fly around getting in my way. So I don't kill spiders, well I try not to heh.

I think I saw on the news once about this town that had a plague of flies, everywhere, they were killing 1000s on those sticky tapes. I think our of all of them I'd rather not have flies.
