Funny, I hated DT, I hate all aspects of construction and engineering, but I actually like Scrap Heap Challenge. My brother's an engineering type person, and he'd always make me watch it (by refusing to turn over)

That's why stipulation three is in place. I don't make the rules you know.

There is a key point against this - BA is afraid of flying, therefore it would obviously have to be Murdoch, they cant really pull the old milk & sleeping pill trick if BA's going to be the only one on the plane now can they??

The A Team would have ruled the build a plane challenge, however there would be certain stipulations to their effort.

Firstly they will have to be locked in a garage/basement with minimal tools. Secondly BA would have to be the pilot, heh I bet you can guess what his company would be called: Mr T's. Ok, the third and final stipulation is that there would be a need for Face man to dress as a female flight attendant to coherese BA onto the plane by offering him some poontang as they said in 'Nam.

Their plane made from an old sofa, five pot noodles and a Boeing 747 (which they'd strip for bits- seats, luggage holders and signage, that sort of thing).

Team Maguiver and Team Bob the Builder would offer stiff competition though.

I know, we should get teams from America, Japan and the UK and challenge them to build a fully working Mech in 2 days.

Then they can have a fight.

They should challenge the teams to build a National Stadium.

A "build a Time machine challenge" (made out of car tyres, some tubes and an old bath) would also be cool but it would be hard to enforce a time limit and thus the show would be pointless.

Paradoxes aplenty too I'd assume.

I like Scrapheap challange, I find it entertaining seeing these teams of people making something from practically nothing. Last night's show was great, and I really thought the British plane was going to crash and burn due to it's waight, but lo and behond it was the best flying plane out of the lot of them.
