there has been a lot of good goals already and i was wonderin which one y'all thought was the best.

Rooney Vs Arsenal
Scholes Vs Everton
Henry Vs West Ham
Shearer Vs Everton

are only a few.

Yeh, you got a point there Evil, I suppose we are used to seeing those particular types of goals from Thierry!

It was but it seems thats from him it feels... 'Common' For him to do that..

And Jenas's goal was a sweet kick and surly bobby did hail him for that.

What about Henry's goal against Tottenham when he ran the whole length of the pitch and went round about 4 players, then smacked it in the bottom corner? That was a beauty, but, being an Arsenal fan, I suppose I would think so.

Jenas' volley on Saturday against West Ham was also a wicked finish, maybe a contender for goal of the season.

I would say Shearer against EVERTON but seeing i support them i would have to say ROONEY

Yup, One touch shot into the top left part of the goal. Beauty. I saw it again on the premiership and won goal of a month with it :D

I actually came here to say that but it looks like you beat me to it.

This now becomes my second favourite goal ever.

Second only to Roberto Carlos's free kick in Le Tournoi.

Best goal this season in any league:

Spanish League:
Rogér (Espanyol) -vs- Rayo Vallecano

Shot from the half way line that lobbed the goalkeeper.

And it wasn't a fluke either - brilliantly timed to perfection.


In the Premiership though, either Shearer -vs- Everton or Cole -vs- Liverpool is the best.

Shearer versus Everton was good.

But best goal I've seen this season was in the French league I think, i don't know who it was, but it was a brilliant bicycle kick from outside the penalty area, which curled into the top corner. Best goal ever was also in the French League, a volley from the half way line that sailed over the keeper. Twas wicked.
