Hopefully most of you who are applying are not a bunch of lazy slackers yet to do your UCAS forms but you are actually now waiting for/getting offers...

Anyway, who here is applying for Uni this year?

I'm doing English Language...if we both go to huddersfield and do English Language Pro Evo I shall nudge you in the eye, that shall be our code of knowing who each other is.

Well apparently Stafford is famous for having the lowest average beer prices in a university area, so it should be fun.

I have applied to one university.

I got a letter last week offering me a place onto the only science degree course in the country for Advanced Film Production. 1280 Applications, 52 places. Yay!

I have an interview next January, where I have to talk about a favorite film for five minutes. The uni is Stafford.

Everyone should go there :-D

Come to Exmouth, it has a beach and...um...it's nice!

Im applying this year too, sent my UCAS off about 4 weeks ago. My 6 choices where:

Sheffield Hallam
Leeds Trinity and All Saints
Manchester Met
Birmingham Uni
Huddersfield Uni
Barnsley College, which was one just to really fall back on just in case i do something stupid and forget to bring a pen to the exam.

The course im going to be taking is English Language, two of the Uni's offer media with that too.

I applied last year.

I dont have to apply again do i!?

Ah, Uni, those were the days. Seems so long ago now.

I'm from Leicester.

I'm also applying to Uni this year, but I'll be taking a gap year first.
I'm applying to Nottingham and that's it.

Lucky they've given me an offer. :-)


Nottingham is the only University I'd go to, but I'm still toying with the idea of simply living on the dole until this band takes off...
