Arcade games have always proved to be better than the normal console games because they are always released in advance. Sega are always doing this for example

HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2
SAMBA DE AMIGO

These are always good fun to play in the arcade because of the guns and maracas included.

The question though is the dreamcast version as good and playable?

I believe that they are not as fun even though they have better modes. It just does not seem to be as good. They are also not enough replay value.

I think that the atmosphere is also better in the arcades aswell. The best arcade producers in my opinion is namco and capcom.

TIME CRISIS 2
MARVEL VS CAMPCOM

They rule. Especially time crisis 2 ( I have completed cost me £8) I still think they will never be as fun. I must just love the atmosphere in the arcades.

The conversions never seem to be as good in my opinion. With the exeption of time crisis on playstation.

fruit machines are cool, you feed it money and you get more back for your troubles!

I stopped playing arcade games all of a sudden when I discovered that in the same place there were Fruit Machines, from which I could win money. As I had a games system at home, if I ever went into an arcade, it was usually to gamble!

That's why arcades are dieing.

I remember the arcade game!

My brother and I finished it once whilst on holiday,

It got pretty tough towards the end, and took a large chunk of our holiday money!

I think the arcade game was wicked. I never understood what you had to do in barts nightmare. It seemed confusing when i played it.

I think that bomberman was the best on the MD at that time

I got Bart's Nightmare on the MegaDrive thinking it might be the same as the great arcade game you guys have been talking about... but it sucks big time and I never figured out what you're meant to do! Lame. Krusty's Funhouse was a cool game though :):)

I like ren and stimpy it's quite funny, especially when you squeze stimpy and he farts.
