In your opinion is this going to be the best Star Trek film out of the 4 that are modern post Kirk Star trek?

The "Generations" film still counts as a post Kirk film even though he's in it so it counts as four to choose from.

I think that this will be the darkest the Star trek world has gotten since we first met the Borg in TNG.

I saw some pics of Troy and Riker, but no details. I assumed it was a miner bit. My bad.

I heard rumors of Janeway, but was unsure of the scale of her apperance. I got the impression it was to be DS9 crew with a cameo from her.

Data, i guess he's the one who flies off into space in the trailers then. All this is just pointing out the obvious that i didn't see, or did and was too dim to pick up on, or remember, whatever. Thanxs anyway.

If you really want to know the answer to both thoses questions I will gladly give them to you:

*Spoilers*

The members of the Star Trek communitity that make an appearance is Captain...I meant Admiral Katherine Janeway, and I don't know who else appears at the time.

The person who dies in the film is... you won't believe this, but.... Data!

One thing you didn't mention is the Marrage of Troy and Riker!

*End Spoilers*

I really really sure, why, do you know somethin' i don't???

Also, i guess those are hints, don't suppose there's any chance on telling me where you heard that is there? Plus, does someone die, is it Troy/Troi??? I know she does the hippedy hoppedy with the Human Romulan Dude.

Are you so sure it was the Enterprise? Also it’s defiantly the end for one of the next gen characters, but I won’t say why. Also watch out for some familiar faces from a more recent star trek show.

I saw the 5 min trailer a while ago now. Looks sweet. The thing is, the Enterprise-E crashes in the film. Do they all die(A Generations Final Journey) and all. Whatever happens, who's next??? The Voyager crew? *crosses fingers*. Perhaps they have to come back to fight a species only they have met.
I don't think Enterprise has the background for a movie yet. Deep Space Nine, To Boldly Go Nowhere And Hope Something Interesting Comes Along. I think not???

I've just been told this might not be TNG cast's last film. Is this true???

I like all the Trek films, some (much) more than others, I have them all on DVD too, the first 5 were on sale so I bought the silver editions with the full versions of 2 trek PC games on them.

Nemesis looks good though, I'm probably going to watch it in Jan.

Actaully there are two types of Star Trek fans I can't remeber what the low clase fans are called who just watch the shows and the films, but the real Trekkies are actaully people who collect collectables and learn to speak Klingon (like my Sister's uni friend).

I have seen nearly all of the films and the only ones that have appealed to were Generations and First Contact until now...
