A WOMAN who falsely cried rape against two men was named and shamed by a judge yesterday and told she faces jail.

Mum-of-two Sally Henderson, 40, accused husband Richard Cooke, 39, of repeatedly raping her when he left her after ten months.

A court heard she told the same lie against ex-lover Mark Rowe, 42, who dumped her five years earlier.

Both men were arrested as cops probed the fake claims.

Neither were charged � but Henderson was accused of perverting the course of justice.

Yesterday at Gloucester Crown Court, Judge David Lane QC lifted a ban on identifying her, saying: �The public has a right to know the identity of a person who uses justice for her own, unscrupulous ends.

�These men had the extreme anxiety of facing the most serious offences that can be brought against a man.�

Henderson, of Woodmancote, near Cirencester, Gloucs, will be sentenced on November 3.

Cirencester isn't too far from here. I hate reading these kind of stories. The last one I heard was about a girl who met 4 guys at a strip club and went home with them all to give them a private dance. Then in the morning she tried calling the police to give her a lift home, when she was told they weren't a taxi service she cried rape and all 4 men were arrested.

Luckily one of the guys filmed some of the naked dancing on his mobile because in her story to the police she said she danced fully clothed the whole time.

You really have to be twisted to do something like this.

Think back and you'll realise that she has never mentioned him by name to this day. Matthew Wright was the one who let it slip.

This sort of stuff concerns me. Yes if you've made false accusations you should be punished but can anyone actually prove theyre false? I would hate to think anyone who has been raped could then be locked up when it couldn't be proved.
Yes, Borat, men can be raped by women and i have heard of it. Date rape drugs + Viagra etc

I hope she gets the book thrown at her.

I'm not saying that he did or did not rape her but there wasn't enough evidence to even put him on trial.

Yes it really is terrible for the guys wrongly accused. That one Borat mentioned, how terrible is that 7 years wasted? Even if he got lots of compensation he'd rather have his life back than money.

Good it's about time this becomes the normal thing as well. I'm sick of tired of reading these stories of *I was raped!!!!!!!......... oh actually no i wasn't i was just trying to get back at him because he didn't call me afterwards* and then these women never getting named or put in jail while the guy in question has to live with it the rest of his life, after being plastered in papers, as people think, hmmm well there can't be any smoke without fire.

They should only name the people once they have been found guilty, otherwise grant them anonymity as well, let's get some equal rights (my word what a novel concept)

It's a sickening thing to do, it really is. Nothing worse, like you say, you can do to a man.

I read about a guy who was in prison for 7 years or something, until the woman confessed she made it up because she hated him ... that's 7 years of his life he'll never get back, and his reputation tarnished until the day he dies.

Heh, you don't hear about many men getting raped by women, but then I suppose it isn't really possible ... if you see what I mean ... a guy would have to 'want' to be raped ... unless there are toys involved or something ...

Yeah, that's pretty much one of the worst things you can do to a man. It could destroy your reputation in days.

Its mad, ive heard alot of stories that women do this to men. Take them back to there homes or just go iff with them and stuff and have sex with them only to later turn it round and cry rape.
