Playing like they are, they don't really have much claim to retain the title. Ray Parlouris a decent midfielder, and Ashley Cole is consistently excellent, but the rest of the team is just poor.
Oh, Henry is quality too, but some of his passes just aren't good enough, and his finishing has gone downhill in recent games.
Arsenal need to step up their performance if they're to be in the top 4 by the end of the season.

no.

A very good point!
My Liverpool-supporting mate is livid at the moment!

How quickly they forget... just a short time ago, this was United, and then they were 'doing well to battle it out'.
Let's not forget that this was a derby match, and we pasted Spurs 4 weeks ago, so they were always going to try much harder at home. I seem to remember United losing their local derby match not so long ago in their bad spell.
Arsenal were terrible in the first half. Like they said in the commentary, it was as if they were waiting for a 3pm kick-off. Second to everything, bad passing... the works.
But hten - Spurs should have been well clear (3, maybe 4 goals) before Keller brought down Henry - but they weren't, thanks to some great goalkeeping and some great (if last-ditch) defending.
At the end of the day, anything more than a point in a derby game is a bonus. Even if Arsenal had been continuing their awesome form from last season and the start of this one, I'd still have been happy with taking a point from this game.
I know which team will have the happier fans tonight!
And we're still top of the league, which must really stick in a few people's throats. This dip in form will pass, and providing we're still in the top 3 when it does, I see no major problems.
WTF is happening to Liverpool. Losing to Sunderland?! conceding 2 goals to a team that hasnt even managed one goal in thier last 4?! what a bunch of jokers!
