A moped nearly hit me. I was crossing the road. The cars closest to me were stopped at the lights, so I went to the middle of the road where the cars were coming. Any way the cars were ages away so I started to cross to the other side when I heard a voice say "watch it", I looked right and a guy on his moped was driving down on the wrong side of the road trying to cut the cue. But he just missed me and slid along the road.

When he got up I said "what the f##k are you playing at driving down the wrong side of the road?" He said nothing and went off again.

He had really bodged his paintwork up, which was nice.

bloddy cars, they're the channel of the evil and romanian.

while in town, My mum was getting really peed off with me, and tried to clip me round the ear. I was walking near the curb, and came up to a wall, bout a foot high, in between the curb and the road. it was this time my mum tried to hit me. I dodged around the wall, and met an oncoming car in a most unfreindly manner :) I lost my balance in surprise, so I tried to launch myself off the curb into the Island on the other side, and got caught in the stomach on the corner of the car, and then got knocked back into the curb, seriously hurting my spine. I was off school for one and a half weeks, an entire week in bed. also, on the week after that, when I got out, I went out to town with freinds, and made a joke about it, tripped over the curb, and fell flat on my chin onto the rouad, giving myself another half a week out of school and an unattractive scar on my chin going all the way to my lip. still, my girlfriend stuck with me through all of it.

also, on a releated topic, I was in a park, me and three of my friends, My muslim aquantance Abrar, my 'well-at-least-I'm-not-as-fat-as-him' friend micheal, and suicidal monkey shaun, we were having a fight with a gang of hard guys giving us greif at the park and school. they were outnumering us by one, and were double teaming micheal. Abrar helped out micheal, and they decided to double team me. I fled up a jungle Gym-thing, and they surrounded me. I launched myself aproxamatly 2.6 metres high, landed on his shoulder, fractured a rib, and broke his arm. I still got up and fought the other one, and be gave me two black eyes and a bruise the sise of my fist. in the end I just tackled him onto a metal pole.

we ruled ;)

I've nearly died quite a few times believe it or not.

One time for instance, a friend and I were on a BMX which had no brakes, anyway we was riding through the streets as you do and we came to the top of a long hill, we started to go down and as soon as we hit half way realised we can't stop becuase we're going way too fast. At the bottom was a busy road at it's most busiest, cars just flying past, bascially we panicked, it was hard to turn the bike because my mate was leaning on me pushing me forward and my knees were blocking the handlebars. I turned just before the road, knowing we'd crash, road up someones front lawn, hit a dip and sent us flying into the wall of the house. Argh. Still if we carried on down we would have died, so a few scars and bruises was worth it.

My friend was giving me a backie on his BMx, down this hill, we on the road and ahead of us were too routes pavement, or road in the middle a metal pole about i.5 m. Of course we both thought differently and ended up heading for the pole. i flipped up over his head and landed 3 m or so down the road. Nothing was broken, but i couldn't walk for about 3 days.

My friend had gone straight into the pole and cut his neck, though it wasn't deep. We were really gutted cause we had justescaped from scholl, after some teacher asked us to clear the playground up after the fete.
That's what you get when your cocky.

Also my friend (a different one) was going down this huge hill on this massive bike, as couldn't stop he went into the garden and through the front window of his Gran's house, he little, and he was left with a scar on his face.

Urgh.. I know how you feel. It's awful when your shoelace gets tangled in your bike. There's only one alternative - and that's to fall. The worst part is knowing it.

I was about 14 the first time I rode a bike on the road. I was pedalling along a busy A-road, and was approaching a junction where I would have to turn right. I felt something strange happen with my left foot, and when I looked down I saw my shoelace had become entagles with the chainset on this bike. I would have to get off, but I foolishly pedalled one more revolution, after which it became *really* tight. I had to stop, and practically launch myself onto the pavement left of me, but as I did so, the bike somehow threw me back to the right. I landed on my right side in the midst of heavy traffic. Looking up I saw the front wheel of a truck driving away from my face - meaning the back wheel was coming up behind me. The truck braked to a halt, but I felt the tyre stop against the top of the backpack I was wearing. Had it rolled about a foot further, the wheel would have gone over my neck.

To this day, I don't realise how close I came.
