Might have been the 'Mac Warehouse'.

I think it was actualy £220.

Still, decent in comparison.

That's about £60 more than I was going to play for a Creative Zen, for 10GB less storage space.

No wonder they say that owning a Mac is an elite club...

If you bought it direct from Apple it would 'only' cost £330, leaving you thirty quid to spend on overpriced Apple accessories.

I want an iPod, but if you buy one from the the Apple UK store it costs £260; from the US store it costs $300, which is about £190. It's like Nintendo all over again. I say we get Russia to join the EU and then start a war with America over the price of consumer durables.

I just found a 10GB iPod, it was £360.

That's a hell of a price.

Its fantastic... for example:

I had a problem with my Powerbook laptop, in the fact that it wouldn't start because it received a heavy knock and the harddrive was skipping and just well.. broken.

I managed to boot the whole operating system and laptop from the iPod. Saving the contents of my Mac in the process. My dad was amazed and it saved his account work.

iPods rule. I also do my work on an iBook at college and save the work to the iPod, bring it home and print it out.

As well as listen to music.
