Anyone got the new box set?

What's the 5 hours of extra footage like?

Essentially, is it worth me getting?

I've had mine since August and hell yeah it's worth getting!
Get it from CDWow.com it's the R4/R2 version but it's exactly the same as the R2 version (No matter what people say)

I got it at MVC for £28

Are they sure about the 5 hours of features? All it has is a (short) documentary on how each one was made, a load of still images, one or two deleted scenes and out takes and that's about it... they must be counting the feature length commentaries

Anyway, I got it last week, and I watched 1 & 2 (2 being my favourite) that night and 3 the next day (3 being my least favourite)

Excellent films

Its worth getting for the films alone, there are superb and im sure many will agree.

As for the extra's, there nothing special. Watched all of the ones of the first film and they were ok. The making of it only lasted around 20 minutes though, not really enough to go into great detail, but you do learn a fair bit of stuff about the film, and often get to see different designs of the time machine and such. Some of the out-takes are pretty funny too, and then you have the deleted scenes, which sometimes, are just odd. Theres also a bit about each chapter and explaining the means behind each film too, which is rather good.

Still, the films are great, extra's are ok, i'd think it was essential for any fan of the series to own this box set.

If you going to get, then buy it from CD-WOW, I got it from them, and its really cheap. The extra footage is Okay. Some deleted scenes and outatkes from the first and second films which are quite interesting, but very unpolished. Some documentrys type making of things, which are a bit dull. A ZZ top music video :s, not fantastic, but worth it for £19.99 (R2)

Haven't really touched on the extras yet, but the films are better than I remember. The documentaries on the first disc weren't brilliant, they are about 20 years old and about 15 minutes long. But there's plenty of stuff there.
