I recommend the Linksys 4 port router. I've had one for just over a year and it is pretty good. It has a built in hub as well so me and my housemates can share our 1MB broadband connection AND play each other at RA2 and Unreal.
You can find it on Amazon for around £60.

Is it Via processors that can run without a fan? That would be the ideal solution for me: a totally silent system that can be powered with two AA batteries.

Aye, problem is I think it's hiden in my Nan's house somewhere. Also, I don't want to have to leave a whole computer powered constantly. The Lesser stick of monetary funding again complains, and that was never the worlds happiest computer anyway.
