For Xmas I'm getting TWINE on PSX, Star Wars:Demolition on PSX, and Championship Manager: 00/01 on PC. Not bad.

The answer is NOBODY. The Gameaday random number generator picks the day's character count to determine the approx length of the winning message. It looks for the neatest arrangment of upper and lower case, properly punctuated and without adverts or foul asterisks. Then it compares the contenders with the "banned from winning list" which includes most of the regular's names. From the finalists a winning entry is hand picked by the "flashing hand". The winning entry is of course scored on the basis of how much it will wind up the regulars!
