Suggested to the missus that we gave up this renting lark and look for somewhere proper to live.
Saturday we trundled into a few estate agents and took some info. Booked one appointment for today. Went to look, it was crap. Phoned up about a house round the corner and 20 minutes later I was making an offer on the damn thing.
Of course I blagged it and told them we'd arranged a mortgage and stuff, so as soon as we left I legged it home and got on the blower. Within 30 mins I had a hefty wadge of cash offered to me now I'm just waiting on the vendor to say whether he accepts my offer. Obviously I offered WELL below the asking price, cos thats what you do innit?
Funny how things can change so quickly in a day...

That's really cool. I can't wait until I get a place of my own. I used to share a flat with my girlfriend, but we can't afford it now we're at Uni. One day I'll have my house though, and I'll kit it out good and proper. I've already told my other half that I'm in charge in that department - first stop, blinds!
