I didn't just do a logo, made two site templates as well.
First image is the original design of the logo and site, Ali wanted the miscreant network part removed from the splat, and I wanted to redo it anyway because I wasn't happy with the way the edge splats looked.
Second image is the newer site template with the redone logo, and without miscreant network on it, and with the edges redone... the reason it'll look pixelated around the edges is because it's a GIF with transparency. You're seeing it as it looks on a page embedded within a page. I could've made it a flat GIF, but then the webpage's background has to be the same colour as the image's, which limits design possibilities.
1st design: http://lovemediarooftoppics.tripod.com/specob-design1.png
2nd design: http://lovemediarooftoppics.tripod.com/specob-design2.png
They're saved in PNG format because it retains 100% image quality, whilst having a similar file size compression to JPG, JPG would deteriorate the image quality to reduce the file size.

That's the new one.
Also, any chance I could see the logo Pointless Babble designed?
Havent managed to remove the Dot.tk one yet though!

We were trying to use .asp files to hold the site content but sadly instead of displaying the page it propmts you to download it which isn't really what we would want.
The .asp file stops the web host from embedding their code for the banners and ads into your pages.
Although I think the main page will always have to have a banner etc as I'm sure it will always direct to the index.html one.
We are going to have a think about it and maybe have another go at it if we can think of a way to sort it.

I'm intrigued, how do you manage that?
If Tony has a problem with using the SR logo (which is doubtful) just use the fancy plastic ones I sent you, the SR artists aren't capable of stuff like that, just dodgy stuff done in windows paint; so they can't very well complain about you going one better. ;)

Heh, funny you should mention that HAT, but I was in fact going to do that when I redesigned the MSN page. Forgot though and remembered it last night. I'll get that done over the weekend with some nice "hover" effects if I can be arised, and send it to ye, Lana.
Do you mind the images that are on the site that are based on the splat images used on SR? If you want me to remove the ones on our unofficial site just say.
Thanks
cheers aliboy
