Is it actually for sale, or are they empty pre-release promo boxes?
If they ARE for sale, then - c'mon SR, whassup with your release date?!
I've just been into HMV and it's for sale there......
So it must be out then.

It's great. Particularly satisfying against a human opponent, when you slam their player into the side and the shockwave travels down the perspex 'walls'.
With the excellent presentation, you'll swear you're watching a TV sports programme.
I think this game has been overlooked or more or less disregarded in th UK, as ice hockey isn't really a 'big' sport here. And I have to say that, since playing this, I've started watching (or rather, taping!) the ice hockey on late-night Channel 5!
You may want to see if you can try before you buy, as I don't want to be responsible for you potentially wasting £40 - but I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Like I said before, I got it from THIS VERY SITE!
Go here...

...and look for DoA2.
However even as far back as November 26th there were DOA2 boxes on the shelves of our EB. But on closer inspection each of those boxes had a "Pre-order Now" sticker on the front.
Given a choice between DOA2 and TimeSplitters I'd opt for DOA2. Coming from a PC background where the first person shooter level design has become something of a fine art, I find TS level design and game-flow to be fairly average. Well executed, sometimes funny but I personally find it dull compared to Unreal Tourny (on the PC of course). All in my own personal opinion of course. If you just want waves of stuff to mow down on autopilot then great. Whatever you decide, you won't be getting a duff game with either choice.
And after Wookie_M's glowing recommendation of NHL I think I'll be adding that to my shopping list. Sounds like a blast.
Regards,
Richard
I'd recommend NHL2001. At least try it out, even if you don't like ice hockey. I've never watched ice hockey in my life, but this game has so far only been second to SSX.
Also, everyone knows that us Brits produce the best games (like Timesplitters) and especially when the developers (ex Rare coders) have worked with Nintendo!
