I've also been looking at the Memory Stick models, the NWMS11 and NWMS9, but I have a question for anyone who can help...
Both of these items state that they use the MagicGate Memory Sticks. Apart from being different in colour (grey as opposed to blue), these are different from, and far more expensive than, the normal Memory Sticks.
If you own one of these models, do you know if they will also function with the normal blue Memory Sticks?
I have a number of normal sticks (1 x 4MB, 1 x 8MB, 2 x 64MB and 1 x 128MB) which I use with my DSC and camcorder, and new 128MB sticks are around the £80 mark - which isn't too bad, considering what they once were. But the 128MB MagicGate sticks are still around £150!
If the NWMS models will accept standard sticks, I might seriously consider getting one - otherwise, I'll get the MZ-N1 MD player, and make do with cheaper media and a longer battery life!
Thanks for any help.
Can get one
> for £199 online, though, with free delivery. :-)
um, would that be with a company that is giving "Free UK delivery on orders over £39 until December 12?" :)
Net MD it is then!
£250 is the RRP, in the Sony Centre and most shops. Can get one for £199 online, though, with free delivery. :-)
I want one of those!
Either that or i'm gonna get a MP3 CD player for my car.
Wasn't Sony though so erm, yeah.
I'd buy their TV's, videos and DVD players over virtually anyone else, though.
I've got loads of Sony stuff, and never had a problem. Well, the CD tray motor on my hi-fi packed up, but only after a number of years and excessive use!
My friend has a Sony mini-disc player
My friend has a Sony CD Player
All of which broke.
So err
