Well, for me anyway!

Any one who is in a band will appreciate that having other people listen to music you have written is a satisfying thing.

Now, one of my personal favourite bands is Matchbox 20. I have a friend in America who knows the main body guard guy and hence, gets to meet Rob Thomas (lead singer) and the rest of the band whenever he sees them live.

They played the Rockerfeller Center at the beginning of the week and I joked with my American mate and told him to take a copy of my band's latest album, an give it to Rob.

To cut a long story short, he did!

Coolest thing ever - one of my favorite musicians has a copy of my album.

Obviously Matchbox 20 arn't everyone's cup of tea, but just imagine if your favourite artist had your music.

I am very, very happy today!

(just thought I would share that with everyone)

Thanks everyone!

Just in case anyone fancies listening to anything we have done, just put the follwing links into your browser.

These are not the best two tracks we have done, but they are probably two of my favourites.

All opinions are very much appreciated, Goaty did this a while back and got a good response. Whilst I am not expecting great things, one or two opinions (good or bad) are greatly appreciated.

"Pick Me Up":

"Let Forever Stay":

As I say, I doubt many will be interested as I'm not well known on the forums, but if you can spare the download time, I'd appreciate opinions.

Cheers

Had a quick listen - not really enough to judge it on but It was good stuff.
I'm sure with a CD quality tune it would be better but they were good.

Who sings the tunes and who writes the lyrics?

The lack of CD quality makes it suffer quite a bit. It was actually recorded on a 4 track recorder in my bedroom. Having said that, it doesn't sound too bad - I've heard a lot worse quality demos being played on the radio and stuff.

I do the guitar, bass and drums. The other lad sings and plays guitar. Wed both write songs and sometimes one of us writes music and the other puts words to it.

Ta for the feedback. If you get a chance to listen to them a bit more, let me know if they grow on you. 'Pick me Up' is the one most people like straight away and 'let forever stay' usually takes a few listens.

Why thank you sir!
If you want to download anything else, goto www.anythingeverything.tk

There are covers of Hang (and others) too if you wanna listen.

Also a really nice instrumental one called 'Dream of Me' which I am currently working on.

First album sounds a bit poo though as it was done on older equipment!

Really appreciate you taking the time to listen to them!
Cheers.

Most covers are poo - kinda done as warm ups before we recorded our own stuff.

Hang is the best I think, the others were mixed to quick and sound a little dodgy!
