Any one who is in a band will appreciate that having other people listen to music you have written is a satisfying thing.
Now, one of my personal favourite bands is Matchbox 20. I have a friend in America who knows the main body guard guy and hence, gets to meet Rob Thomas (lead singer) and the rest of the band whenever he sees them live.
They played the Rockerfeller Center at the beginning of the week and I joked with my American mate and told him to take a copy of my band's latest album, an give it to Rob.
To cut a long story short, he did!
Coolest thing ever - one of my favorite musicians has a copy of my album.
Obviously Matchbox 20 arn't everyone's cup of tea, but just imagine if your favourite artist had your music.
I am very, very happy today!
(just thought I would share that with everyone)
:-)
I'm sure with a CD quality tune it would be better but they were good.
Who sings the tunes and who writes the lyrics?
Just in case anyone fancies listening to anything we have done, just put the follwing links into your browser.
These are not the best two tracks we have done, but they are probably two of my favourites.
All opinions are very much appreciated, Goaty did this a while back and got a good response. Whilst I am not expecting great things, one or two opinions (good or bad) are greatly appreciated.

As I say, I doubt many will be interested as I'm not well known on the forums, but if you can spare the download time, I'd appreciate opinions.
Cheers

I wish Pink Floyd were still touring...
