The theme tune as you all know is a load of tosh, the surfing was just bloody stupid. The Ice Palace sucked the balls, the main bad guy was a wiener. There where so many un James Bonds things about it was sometimes painful to watch.
Though Halle Berry was fit as funk, so was the other female spy type chick. The action scenes where suitably over the top, Halle Berry's boob where quite astonishing....ummmm. It was a good enjoyable film but if this the way of Bond films to come then I reckon they need to end the franchise quick, bits of it where almost Matrix like in Camera style. It wanted so hard to be cool and hip...though yet again I have to mention Halle Berry's norks, they really where amazing.
Good film, Goleneye still owns when it comes to Brosnan Bond films.

I thought Universal Pictures sold the rights to 20th Century Fox. The advert even had the 20th Century Fox logo on, but on Newsround, when showing clips of the film, it said "footage courtesy of MGM"
What's up with that?
The whole point of Die Another Day is to celebrate the 20th Anniversary, with many ideas which have been pinched from the past twenty films. I don't want to spoil it for anybody but for example the lasers just like in Goldfinger.
Anybody who is going to see this, please see how many things you can notice that have been on or said on past bond films.
Right getting back to the point at hand. Die Another Day may not be the best Bronson Bond Film. But films such as XXX and Mission Impossible that have tried to take a foothold in the Spy Film business with cutting edge new technology and great new stunts.
All I have to say to the perious poster is that this is what the World of Bond films has come too. In this the 21st Century the Bond image has to keep up with new trends and fashions. You cannot expect Broccoli and Wilson to keep with the old image of the smooth and old style bond as it would probably not bring the new Bond fans the younger generation to be exact.
The other reason why it is hard to compare pre 90's Bond's is that new technology has come out making the operation much smoother and quite a difference to Sean's and Roger's reign. With Bond films having no new books from Ian Fleming to fall back on, they have to have specialist writers to make up these new and exicting adventures for Bond to star in.
But i don't think that the film lived up to some of the media hype in the early stages of last month when promoting the film saying it is the best Bond Film ever. It may have the best gadgets and great new camera work but it lacks that touch of Martini. The one lines may of become predictable that still doesn't stop people laughing and that is what happened when i went to see it on Yesterday.
It is going to be a Box Office smash and make MGM millions anyway what ever anybody says. But if you are a Bond Fan or just a passing interest i say go and make your own mind up and don't listen to critics and idiots.
