Just got back from watching Die Another Day, it was good in many ways but it was also a load of balls in many others.

The theme tune as you all know is a load of tosh, the surfing was just bloody stupid. The Ice Palace sucked the balls, the main bad guy was a wiener. There where so many un James Bonds things about it was sometimes painful to watch.

Though Halle Berry was fit as funk, so was the other female spy type chick. The action scenes where suitably over the top, Halle Berry's boob where quite astonishing....ummmm. It was a good enjoyable film but if this the way of Bond films to come then I reckon they need to end the franchise quick, bits of it where almost Matrix like in Camera style. It wanted so hard to be cool and hip...though yet again I have to mention Halle Berry's norks, they really where amazing.

Good film, Goleneye still owns when it comes to Brosnan Bond films.

Why did the stupid cold war have to end?! I prefered it when it was simple Russia Vs Bond.

Someone said the surfing/parachaute scene looked like a Graham Norton skint...the weird thing is, it's true, it did

You wonder why they leave such scenes in the film, if they can't do it right they shouldn't have done it that way.

Anyway, the car chase was very cool and Halle Berry wasn't bad either ;)

MY DIE ANOTHER DAY CONCLUSION:

As an action movie it was brilliant and p!sses all over xXx (which I did think was quite good except for the stupid ending)

However, as a Bond film it sucked. As much as I hate to sound like my dad.... THEY JUST DON'T MAKE 'EM LIKE THEY USED TO.

Don't get me wrong, Stunts, etc in the newer Bond movies are bloody stupid. (the surfing/parachute in Die Another Day, or what about the 'Bond dives off cliff, gets in plane, flies off from Goldeneye!?) However, the invisible car was cool cos John Cleese explained it well. I actually watched a programme the other day and they said that active-camoflage technology is only a few years away!

I think the car would be loved by the Predator!

MGM films have the lion at the start roaring and on the Bond Film it had a Lion and also if you at any Bond Product- Posters, Video's and DVD's they all have the MGM logo on or in.

Saw it earlier tonight. Twas okay. The action was good and that if you could suspend your disbelief. However, the gadgets and stuff in it were far too over the top. In previous Bond films, stuff was over the top. And while stuff may not have been totally realistic, you could kind of believe it could happen. Now we just have totally ridiculous stuff. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but some scenes were just funny in how stupid they seemed.

Also, for me at least, the finale was the weakest of the action set pieces. A bit of an anticlimax. But trying not to sound too shallow, I agree with Tilta, the boobs were excellent...
