I think anyone prepared to take a Dremmel to their case is unlikely to *have* a warranty - they'll have built their own system. And are Dell really going to accept that sort of thing?

Hm. Should I point out that every component you buy is covered by a 1-year warrantee anyway? :)

If I did this witch I think I could follow the Pictures. How do I load the disk thing that comes with it. U think they would expain that!

What I should have said is that anyone prepared to carve up their case is unlikely to have a warranty that can be invalidated by breaking a sticker. What is it about that sticker that makes it so integral to a PC anyway? I've got a Lian-Li case (sooo shiny) so I wouldn't let a power tool in the same room as it.

Don't do this.

If you do, just put the discs and stuff in the hole you made. Games will load quicker this way.

Or just unscrew your case, whatever floats your boat.

Unknown kernal you wouldnt even put a windows in your case with some funky neon light and some water cooling with illuminous die in the water........................

I have a really stupid desk, with a sort of platform for the computer (I panicked in Ikea) and so a window would face away from me and be wasted. It'd be pretty cool, though.

I would like to try water cooling, though, because I like my PC nice and quiet. But it's a no go at the moment because I have a cat and, having seen what it did to last year's Christmas tree, I'm not prepared to take the risk. Dyed water I do like the sound of - maybe I'll do something with the plumbing.

You know, there are perfectly viable silent solutions for air that very good cooling (compared to what you usually get with air). Lots more satisfaction than boring water as well.

You'd need power tools though. Don't worry, they're your friend!

You will never reache the amount of cooling a water cooling setup can do with a silent air cooled system.
