PSP is going very well as usual, with a number of exploits and hacks, as usaual. There is now for the first time ever, a portable modchip for the PSP, and it's called Undiluted Platinum! What does it do? It's a small flash replacement which allows the use of previous flash updates or custom firmware builds, opening up the possibility to run unsigned homebrew code on even the latest PSP systems.
In other news hit T.V show Lost is confirmed to come to all consoles, evem portable. The game will be developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studios.
"With our Montreal studios involved you can expect an extremely high level game," said Pascal Bonnet, director of licensing for Ubisoft "'Lost' is a hit all over the world and we want to bring the 'Lost' universe to the next level." There is also going to be first time a real Metal Gear Solid game for the PSP, name Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. It's based on a sequal to the PS2 game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Plot goes along the lines of how Big Boss formed Fox Hound, and what else took place during the time period.
PS3 is going to hit the shelves November 17th 2006, confirmed by Sony. For those of you who have been living under a rock, the PS3 will cost £425. According to a job posting on CraigsList today That Game Company is looking for "a superstar engineer with a strong graphics background to develop an unannounced downloadable title for the PlayStation 3 launch in November."
intendo's Miyamoto is not happy with Sony copying there controllers motion senser. But sadly, Sony plan back fired leaving Sony with no rumble.
WII is confirmed to cost less than $250 (£130). You can get an Xbox 360 and Nintendo WII for less than a PS3. But I personally am getting a WII and PS3 on launch day. Nintendo have also said they will have six million units systems by March 31st, 2007. Alongside that, they expect to ship 17 million Wii games.
If none of you have heard or seen it, there is also trailer for the new Smash Bros game for the WII called Smash Bros. Brawl. In the trailer for the game there was a big suprise, Solid Snake (from the Metal Gear Solid series)!!!! He was wearing his costume from Metal Gear Solid 2. For more information on this and even a trailer go here. The WII-Mote is also rumored to have a built in mic.

These are the published market share figures for consoles in 2005:
PS2 5.51 million 55 percent
Xbox 2.40 million 24 percent
GameCube 1.56 million 15 percent
Xbox360 607343 6 percent
Bear in mind that the 360 was only launched in the last 40 days of that year.
If you're still saying 'no hope' for Microsoft I will remain puzzled.

Still I do not see any hope left for them, no matter what they do. They're last hope is Halo 3. All is Microsoft got is the graphics.

Internal guesstimates at Microsoft indicate predictive loss of $1.1bn this year alone on XBox. Compare this with original expected losses of $900m over 8 years from 1999-2007 and it's a bit of a jump.
Unsurprisingly, Microsoft, who are quite capable of builing up multi-billion losses just to gain market share, aren't worried.
Today Microsoft have launched their Best of Classics range of games. The regular Classics sell for £19.99, Best of Classics sell for £9.99.
Bill Gates has pointed out that most fighter pilots are strapped in to their seats and hardly move at all when flying their aircraft, so doesn't hold out much hope for console gamers trying to simulate the same thing by waving their controllers around in the air.
Finally, due to the unprecedented success of Xbox Live Marketplace, a brand new interface for XBox Live on the 360 is about to be released which should make content downloads much easier and faster for users.
