You can always up the divider so you can use 400mhz RAM with a 333mhz FSB chip...

There are some pretty nice DDR 400 motherboard around, ashame the ram isnt here yet, true that the max AMD cpu go to is 333mhz at the moment but this ram would be brilliant in a P4 system (400mhz one's) as DDR ram is much better for overclocking than Rimm ram.

400Mhx ram isn't avliable in the UK anyway so it doesn't matter.

kinda pointless as well cos even with an athlon xp 2800+ u wont get the best out of it cos the cpu only runs at 333mhz bus and the ram at 400mhz so the cpu is the bottleneck, no better than 333 at the minute really

I think mine uses PC 1600, which as far as I can tell, nobody makes anymore.

Twice the bandwidth at the same frequency - and the numbers refer to the frequency at which the RAM is designed to run at.

PC2100 runs at 266mhz
PC2700 runs at 333mhz
