Hopefully the fiasco with FIFA allowing Wales' player to play for their clubs three days before a competitive qualifier won't produce any injuries, and the club managers will at least have the sense not to play these players for 90 minutes.

Again, hopefully, the problems in Azerbaiyan with strikes etc will mean that half their national squad still haven't played competitive football all season.

A win will put Wales 5 points clear after only 3 games. Surely well on their way to the finals!!

Pembridge and Savage out of the midfield, and Bellamey out too... they will miss Pem and Sav, both midfield generals, as for Bellas. yes he is fantastic but if Sparky plays Robert Earnshaw it wont be much different, that boy is class, my Dads a bloooooobirds fan and wont shut up about him and Gabbidon. But then again, who wouldn't.

Wales will win 3-0 tommorow in Aberjazan(i know this is the wrong spelling but i am slightly drunk and cannot spell)Sorry.

Bellamys out of the Wales squad for Weds. Gutted.

Cant believe the kick off is at such a stoopid hour too. Half day methinks.

Wicked - Wales v Azerwhatever followed by Foo Fighters at the CIA. Go me!

I expect Wales to trounce Azerbaijan nonetheless, especially since their team will be lacking match practice, and many of their players may still be striking.

Would be funny if they can only muster 7 players for the game...

Well i would be gobsmacked if he isnt at least on the bench for Wales against Azerbaijan despite what his physio may have said.

To be brutually honest tho i dont really think Wales will need Bellamy on wednesday, they should have too much class and cruise to victory but it would be nice to see Bellamy on the bench just in case...

The problem with Bellamy is he's been told by his physios to play no more than one game a week for the next month or so while he's still recovering.

If he plays this weekend, he won't be in the wales squad.

Well as your aware Robbie is quite literally full of running, at the end of any premiership he still looks like he could 'go again' he is a rare quality and providing he remains relatively free from injuries then both Birmingham and Wales will benefit enormously, im also sure that 2 games in 4 days is nothing to him.

Back to the subject of Wales... was it just me or did Bellamy look real sharp and quick in the Champs leauge for Newcastle, this is a guy that was supposedly injured with a mystery leg problem (i think) well i tell you what, Bellamy didnt look like he had been away for a second, he was as sharp as i ever saw him, very impressive.

Savage is quoted as saying "My stamina is up for it. Two games in 4 days won't be a problem".

Bet his wife is a happy woman.
