Yesterday, I was stood in the Big W store in Newport for half an hour, playing on the utterly superb Ratchet & Clank on the PS2. The controls aren't as responsive as Mario Sunshine's - although that might have had something to do with the fact that I played on it straight after a smelly little three-year old got his grubby paws on the pad - but there was a lot more to the gameplay then in Mario's newest game. After playing for only 10 minutes, I had met up with that robot-building guy, and got a hover upgrade for Clank. 10 minutes isn't a long time, so there must be a hell of a lot more to the game later on.

Anyway, what I'd like to know is, do Sony actually own Ratchet & Clank? And if not, I'm holding my breath waiting for a Gamecube port. Ooooh yes!

Ratchet & Clank is actually created by Insomniac, who although are a standalone developer have never ventured too far away from Sony. Plus, the Producers are Sony.

Hmm... Naughty Dog have always had a thing for Rare games.
Crash Bandicoot was VERY Donkey Kong Country...

Except for the fact Spyro and Crash are both absoloutely terrible.

Ratchet & Clank looks fun......but having played it I can't say its.....well..................not sure....but I prefer Mario by a million miles.

And both Spyro and Crash have appeared / will appear on both the Game Boy Advance and Gamecube!

I don't think they are man.

Insomniac handled Ratchet & Clank. They've also developed Spyro in the past.

Naughty Dog handled Jak & Daxter. They developed Crash Bandicoot.

Ah yes! I never thought of Banjo-Kazooie! Ingenius, Mr Bond! I was just too busy comparing the two next-gen consoles to realise it. *cough*

Yeah Sony own the games creator, can't remember their bloody names but they're the same team that did Jack and Daxter.

Ratchet and Clank seems to be good but i'd say it has more in commmon with Banjo Kazooie than Mario Sunshine (please note, I'm not saying this is a bad thing)
