I recently got a new webcam and now whenever i want to use it over messenger, it doesnt work. The old camera seems to be still setup in messenger as the defualt one. I can change it evrytime i open messenger with the audio tuning wizard, but its getting annoying now.

Any ideas how i can remove the old camera settings/drivers for good?

Cheers :)

tried M$'s Registery cleaner then? Its freeware available from the M$ site that checks for dead or old links.

The software (Messenger) is set up to use the old camera. As far as the PC is aware, the old camera is still installed, therefore Messenger still trys to use it.

But the software is configured for the old one, and as far as it knows, the old camera is still there...
