I ALSO see that Liverpool ARE turning into a truly great side, as your ramblings of "Thank God Liverpool are out" have proved :D

I was watching the boring game last-night on ITV2 last night (for some reason) and each time I flicked-over the check the score of the Liverpool game I just had to laugh as another goal had gone-in against them! :D

I wasn't too surprised to see them pull one back though, but when the second went in I thought they did stand a real chance of doing what United used to do so-many times in the past.
And then there was that penalty... I burst out with laughter when he fluffed-it, but I was then swearing at the little git when he LUCKILY put-away the rebound!

Good to see them out really. They were getting a bit too cocky. :)

I hate to see English teams doing badly in Europe.

However, if you have to go out, I'm glad you did it in such an embarassing fashion :)

Those reports don't reflect what happened: Granted, the 2nd game was more to do with Basle's good play, but WE DESERVED TO WIN THE FIRST ONE! IT AIN'T FAIR I TELLS YA!

And besides...we didn't lose to Man City :P

Of course you "deserved to go through" just look at those outstanding results, you only managaed to win against the 'offical' worst team in the CL (as the BBC called them)
